Why can't I scroll through my messages or see my new messages after a software update

I have a galaxy s 6 active and I just installed a new software update from AT&T. Now I cannot check messages that it says that I have received and I cannot scroll through my messages it keeps scrolling back to the top automatically

Hi, have you tried to reset the device after the update to see if that helps? also try wiping the apps cache.

Power cycle the device.

Wipe app cache via app manager.

Wipe system cache via recovery mode.

That should fix any issues.
