Android Central Question

I carried my Verizon Galaxy S7 to Poland and switched my SIM card to t-mobile. Thanks to another post I added a new APN and now I get 4G Data connection. However I can neither send nor receive a SMS.
Based on a different blog I updated Assisted Dialing settings and updated the country code to +48, still no success.
Is there anything else that I am missing? Please help.

Few more details about my current situation:
I can make outgoing calls, but cannot receive any calls. Neither can I send/receive SMS. The phone is from USA. I called Verizon and they confirmed that my phone is unlocked.

I tried all the suggestions, and no luck. BTW the instructions given on t-mobile.com were related to USA(the MCC and MNC were for USA).

I also tried using an Orange SIM card (my friend's) and I was able to send/receive SMS with Orange SIM card.
