computer cannot download drivers for Galaxy tab s2

Hi guys,

I am new on the forum and a newby in Android land. Got myself the galaxy tab S2 a couple of days ago but somhow the computer cannot download the necessary drivers to connect the tablet to the computer.

I had 2 suggestions from Customer care. One of which was useless as they suggested to delete the drivers. Could not do this for nothing was installed. Whenever I plug in the tablet it starts downloading but somewhere in the process it indicates FAILURE.

The other suggestion is to check if the USB-mode is on MTP (Media)' instead of 'MTP Camera'. However, I have no clue as to where to look for this on the device. If anyone has suggestions and/ or ideas of where to look for the USB-mode I gladly would hear it.

Thanks a million, already.

So you must have downloaded SmartSwitch for your computer from Samsung. I tried as well but it didn't seem to work either. I never thought I would wish for Kies.

Tried using SmartSwitch to transfer some music from iTunes on my Mac. What a nightmare! You are "required" to backup your data to the iCloud FIRST. I got a headache trying to remember my apple ID/password. I just got discouraged. I guess I will try to do it by inserting my SD card into my Mac and then do a drag and drop of my files...

Bring me back Kies!
