Why can't we get top specs in a normal Size???

I have...it beats every large phone out there including the gs3

Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk 2

Proof I want numbers stating that every phone sold with a larger screen didn't beat sales of the iPhone he's not talking stack up one phone against sales no every larger screen phone... Together

He said I didn't put out any real data what do you think brad did I put up some data

Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I727 using Tapatalk 2

Ya man that is some clear data. I am not surprised in any way. I hear the same thing from most people I talk to. The big question will be "is apple listening"? Or will they ignore the desires of a large part of their market and realize that Steve Jobs was wrong when he said no one would buy a phone larger than 4inches?

Just between the sgs3, the Note and Note 2 predictions there is close to 50 million. Add in Motorola, HTC, LG and Windows phones and you are well past what Apple has done in the same time period since the release of the sgs3 or the original note. Whichever came first.

Poof again that's not the ONLY REASON THEY BUY THE PHONE HOW DENSE ARE YOU how many times do we need to tell you that take the hint that's a terrible argument

Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I727 using Tapatalk 2

so if Android phones with larger screens sell well its because the companies have done market research and are giving people what they want, but if Apple sells lots of phones with 3.5"-4" screens its because their customers are mindless lemmings? that seems to be the gist of your argument throughout this thread.

also, by not increasing the width of the handset, Apple solved the issue of making one handed use more difficult

Still going at it?

Did those words come out of my mouth? huh? No there are tons of reasons besides screen size that people stick to ios see posted charts you seem quick to assume I'm attacking ios users

I'm saying demand for high end small ANDROID smartphones may not be as big as y'all think like I said tech minded android users make up roughly half to one percent of all smartphone users the rest likely could care less what's under the hood.

Please oh please please prove me wrong I'm begging you to put some facts saying I'm wrong on the table :D

It's hard to get any solid stats on larger screens but from what I found
Samsung Note: 10mil
Samsung GS3: 30mil+
Samsung GS2: 2mil
HTC OneX: 7 mil
That's almost 50mil and doesn't include Sony, LG or Motorola, Nokia, ZTE, Hawei etc.

You can get some pretty big numbers here: Smartphone sales and statistics

This has more smart phone numbers Strong Demand for Smartphones in Second Quarter Continues to Drive the Worldwide Mobile Phone Market, According to IDC - prUS23624612 you can see that Samsung shipped almost double the number of smartphones in Q2 with 50mil vs Apples 26mil. Quite amazing when you look at 2011 where apple had 20mil and samsung only had 18mil.

Once you add in the Note 2, Gnex had 2 mil+, The new LG Nexus etc. Apple won't have these numbers.

But with all this said, I hope and pray that RicanMedic78 gets his wish at some point in the very near future. He deserves it after all this hard work trying to make a point. Being the OP and hanging in this long takes a fair bit of commitment. LOL> Have a good night gents.

Good stats for people who have no choice since there's no small alternative. And either way, iphones beats all of them.

There's just no way around that dude! lol

But if this logic was true no one would by the Note products and everyone would by Apple. Sheesh. There is some middle ground in this. I think you are being closed minded.

Roughly 450 million units sold worldwide since release in 2007 there's the start point I don't have Q3 or Q4 stats in my hand but there are breakdowns as that's how apple shows it's figures there is a starting point if you would like I can get you quarter by quarter sales data as it would seem you refuse to provide any real data just biased and honestly desperate dribble

I actually did see that number but wasn't sure if that was a 4.3 or 4.5 inch device. Pretty crazy numbers. If you look at thebtotal number of devices that Samsung has sold all inclusive for all sizes the numbers are staggering.

I addressed your "no small alternative" argument a page back, you must've missed it.

There's been a lot of reasonable arguments against your case (Not that you shouldn't have one, but why there isn't) and you have only been able to respond with we'll never know until they make one. Well, everything points to the idea that it won't be a big selling device, so I don't think you'll see one hitting the shelves anytime soon. The tech world is too tight for companies to toss that much cash down the tubes without an expected return.

There are small alternatives, it's just that you seem to think the everyday person cares what the spec sheet says. Since you keep bringing up iPhone, I'm looking at Apple's iPhone 5 product page and except their screen specs and camera they don't list any real stats. Unless I'm assuming that Apple has put the best hardware in their phone and leave it at that, I'll have to go to third party sites to find out what the real stats are in the iPhone.

But hey I'll throw ya bone here, one of my friends I'm debating college football with is only on iOS because he can't get a top end phone at 4in. But that is because he only uses his phone for mainly phone functions and his iPad for media. Although he said he'll decide once his contract is up with his iPhone 4 to go iPhone 5 if it has been jailbroken or sell his iPad and iPhone to get the Note 2 and iPod Touch.
