Why did all my pictures in a certain album go blank?

I have a droid turbo the first one and I just did a system update on it a couple days ago and for some reason when I go into my gallery and click on an album I made myself all the pictures are blank. I've tried restarting it, goin through the back way to access them and still nothin. They also ain't in my cloud either. Is anyone else having this problem or know how to fix it?

Welcome to Android Central! Use a file manager app to look in the /DCIM/Camera directory -- are all of the photo files still there? Or did you create a separate directory for this album?
