Why did my contacts get mixed up in conversations after Pie update?

My S8+ just got the Pie OS update (T-Mobile OTA) yesterday. My text messages now have mixed contacts in some, but not all, of the threads. I went to the T-Mobile store, but they weren't able to help me.
