Why did my Samsung phone just up and brick on me

So one day i turned on my Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime phone and noticed that alot of apps was crashing. Like says " Chrome has stopped working" and among others. Then it kept restarting itself over and over. Then after a little bit of it doing that a would take me to only the recovery screen. Aaaand then it just bricked. Hard bricked. Wont turn on, wont go into download mode nor the recovery mode. Doesnt even say if its charging or not. Now i plug it into pc and it only recognizes the phone as "Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008 (COM4). Can anybody plz help? Thanks.

If it can be recognized by computer that's a good thing , can you get into recovery again,? Or download mode ?

Thanks for the respose man. I will be trying those instruction you put a link to tonight when i get home. But still, its a no go with the download mode and recovery. But then again i have tryed those instruction yet. Will respond back as soon as i do and see what happens. (Fingers crossed)

Hello Mustang 7757. Im about to try that set of instructions you sent in that link but first i like to bring up that those set of instructions look like its for solely LG phones. Does that matter?

That is no more than a guide to the procedures involved: you’d have to find Samsung equivalents to some of those files. I think it’s unlikely to work, but apart from replacing the motherboard, or perhaps indeed the entire phone, I don’t see what else you can try.

Hi, yeah disregard those instructions in the link, I was reading over everything again
The only thing I can recommend since your phone can be recognized by computer , is use adb commands and try to boot it up in bootloader , if you cant get there or download mode you wont be able to recover your phone at all

Welcome to the forums. Can the battery be removed? If so, you can remove it, and then try to reboot it to recovery that way.

Pretty sure enabling USB debugging option was not turned on before the phone bricked me. So i wouldnt think ADB would work. Besides i tried that already

I also tried the taking out of the battery and rebooting it in recovery or download mode. Nope. Well thanks for the responses. I may be crap up a creek on this one.

You downloaded the adb tools to recognize the commands on the computer?

Like golfdriver said does the prime have a removable battery? Dont remember

Yes kept saying something like no device found. Even though the device was plugged in and the pc recognised the device. Just not as a samsung though.

And yes battery can be removed.

Also. Dont know if this means anything but if i hold the power botton down for like 15 to 20 seconds while the battery is out and its connect to computer it like disconnect and reconnect.

Ok hopefully it is the just the battery. And ill try ADB again
