Why did my slimport adapter stop working on my LgG3?

Okay, so I bought a slimport adapter for my phone off Amazon. I've had it for months and it's worked great. But it stop working miraculously tonight and I can't figure out why. It will charge it but won't display on to my dynex tv screen. HELP

Welcome to Android Central! Chances are that the adapter simply failed. You'd need to try another Slimport adapter to see if it's a problem with the microUSB port instead.

Have you tried unplugging the HDMI cable from both the LG G3 and the TV and then plug everything back to allow the devices to renegotiate the signal?
You may be using an uncertified adapter. You will have better luck with the certified SlimPort HDMI SP1004 available on Amazon, search for SlimPort SP1004
