Why did the audio stop exporting with my slimport on my LGV10

I've been using a Kanex slimport adaptor for my V10 while traveling. It has been functioning flawlessly until last night. As I hooked up my phone to the hotel room TV,the audio remained coming from the phone. No amount of changing plugs, rebooting the phone, battery pull on the phone etc.. had any effect on it.
Did I change a setting somewhere and not know it?
