Why did the minimum media sound level increase after update?

After the update to 8.1.0, the sound levels on my Moto G5 Plus increased; the minimum level is now at what use to be the 4th or 5th level. As someone who frequently listens to music to get to sleep, this is not good. Any suggestions for a fix?

Yes, the same happens in safe mode
