Why didn't all contacts transfer from my Anfroid phone to my new tablet?

I have synced twice but only about half of the contacts transferred.

Did you save all the contacts on your phone to Google account or some of it were saved on SIM too?

If contacts were saved on SIM, then transfer them to Google account.

Once all contacts have been transferred to Google account, they will automatically sycn with your tablet too.
