Why do apps keep reappearing

[Android Central Question]

I have a ulefone S7. Recently, a game ad has appeared at switch on which locks the screen making using the phone impossible. Numerous switch on/off operations eventually make the game ad go away. I have found two apps which keep appearing and do so after a factory reset and disabling them. They are DAbrower and com.android.extensions.hybrid.app. Any ideas?

Welcome to Android Central! You likely installed an app that included some adware or malware with it. Uninstall apps one by one until the problem goes away.
