Why do I always have to choose defaults!?!!

Every time I want to open a web page or attach a photo I have to choose which program to use...and I ALWAYS click Always yet I have to do it every single frikken time!

Is there a way to set them...Always...that actually works? I hate having to click 3 buttons every time I want to do these things.

Hi,

Just select always and it will be set as default application. You can try restarting your phone.

When you go to settings> applications> default applications ... what do you see? Are the apps that you've selected as always listed here?

There's only a few...one for gallery, internet and pdf. But even though they are there...I still get asked which app to open with regatdless of having these defaults set

I can't answer your question but I can tell you that it's the same here as well. I just stop trying lol

1. Wipe the cache and data of the apps concerned. See #1.5 of S5 Lollipop Update Problems - Dummies Guide

2. Wipe the phone's cache partition as per #1.3 of the above guide.
