Why do I get error messages when I try to open an app on my Galaxy Note 10.1?

hey guys I have a problem with my galaxy note 10.1

Ok so I got my note back from the pawnshop and I went home and when I tried to open up an app it says "could not load data" or "check your connection and try again". But I can open up a webpage and go to google but also it keeps saying "security warning there are problems witht the security certificate for this site" everytime I go anywere on the web it says that.
It has a strong signal And I restarted it so I dont know what the problem could be.

Any help is appreciated thanx in advance

Check to see if your note has the correct time and date.
Reset time and date and you s should be good.
