Why I get so little space on my SD card after moving apps?

Hello guys,

I have a problem, I guess. I am tring to clean my brand new samsung galaxy s7 edge and get some extra free space on inner memory. I moved all the apps that I could and I noticed that I barely got any space back. I made a test with my Fifa 16, this app takes 1.46 gb of space on the phone. I moved it to SD and I got just 80 mb of space back on the phone! What is this kind of moving app? I would want to move an app, but move it completly to the SD card, so in this case I would want to get 1.46 gb memory back. I contacted samsung support but they told me that phone moved what it could. But seriously? From app which is 1.46 gb I can move only 80 mb? Then I find SD unsless in terms of saving space on apps. Is there any solution for that? Or maybe my phone is broken?

When you "MOVE" an app to the SD card, really all you're moving is the APK. Perhaps you get to move the Library files too.
- Private Data remains on INTERNAL storage
- Data remains wherever the app put it
- Dalvik Cache remains on internal storage

Moving an app to the SD card really only moves a piece of it. Sad, I know. But that piece CAN be a large fraction of the app's total storage use though, so it's really depends on each app.
