Why do I have two of every photo I shot in my image files?

I went into my image files in my Samsung tab pro to clean out some unwanted photos and noticed there were duplicates of every photo I took. This made viewing and deleting these photos more time consuming than I had anticipated. Is there a setting to prevent this from happening?

Nowhere specifically. I just shoot the picture and it ends up in my file folder under images. I do have an app called Dropbox which automatically uploads the photos I take with my tablet to my desktop pc.
