I have had an LG G2 for well over a year and it runs really well. However, when I try to use a wired headset, either the earbuds with a microphone or a single ear with a boom mic, there is no sound input from the headset or the phone.
I can yell loudly and it barely picks up my voice. The same headsets work fine on my wife's Samsung Galaxy S4. Is there some kind of setting to boost the microphone input volume? It strikes me as weird that I can get some sound input. It seems like if there was a problem with the phone, I would have nothing.
