Why do I stop random apps from popping up for installation?

I use an infinix hot 4 pro phone. Recently, random apps especially opera news and sporty bet started popping up in the middle of my browsing and if I mistakenly tap on them, it starts to download. How do I disable this? And if it's an app that causes it, how can I locate the app to uninstall it cos its really getting under my skin.

Welcome to the forums. Did this start happening recently? What new apps did you install?

Yeah, recently. About a month ago. Just two new apps; DSTV and Paylater

It might be something to those apps. I would try removing them and see if the ads stop.
