This is not an exclusive behavior of the phone industry. This is true for every single aspect of life. You see that with voting, fashion, religion, etc.... You only notice it because your on this site. Go to a TV forum and you'll see the same behavior.

I remember back in the days of grade school and the arguments of Ford vs Chevy. That was between school children who were years away from being able to even drive/own a vehicle.

Most of the time many people really convincing me for switching a phone but then i did not use to do it even the fact that many of new phones now are really better than old one for adding a lot of features and for me that is one of the main reason why many people convince on switching phone.

Hmm, I visit a few TV forums routinely and the only thing I have seen like that is people debating whether a particular Blu-ray movie looks or sounds good or whether 3D is good/worthless or a fad or not.

But in all things, for some reason phones seem to be the worst. Right up there with religion and politics. Maybe cause they are very personal devices. I think it's silly really. Use what makes you happy.

I will say that I have never felt so assulted as I do on this website. SD cards, screen size, iPhone vs Android the list goes on and on for the things feel the need to beat up others on around here and I'm rather over it. It's a freeking phone people. No need to go all religious crusade over it. LOL

I buy what I like and think will be most useful over the long haul. I appreciate the reviews and general help but I am not joining a cult.
I am not an apple fan but do own an ipod mainly for medical review videos. Dislike iTunes. My relatives have everything apple and spend so much time talking about their toys; they seem to enjoy it so I am cool just listening.
Funny how some folks can tell you all about their tech. but cannot discuss world events (or more importantly last nights games).

No, but seriously though, people have passion and reasons and just like everything else when people have passion, they want to persuade you into liking the things you like, so you have more in common. I would take it that they like you and want the best for you then anything.
