I understand you're also in a competitive business, but articles "based of [sic] what a product can do right now" are what's useful to me--reviews after general availability has propagated.
Perhaps it is because manufacturers know that the modern consumer has the attention span of a squirrel. If they're not constantly throwing nuts our way, our eyes may be distracted to some other nut (or maybe even Apple) tree.
