Why does miscellaneous files take up all my memory?

So my new tablet has 8gb and it uses 2.3gb to run. My miscellaneous uses 3.4gb and when I delete something the misc just uses all the space I just added. I'm bassicly better off just getting a new tablet. I have a 64 gb ad card but i
0can't figure out how to download stuff right on to it or if you even can

Most likely, you cannot download things directly to the SD card as many apps do not allow that.
Instead you need to download your files to the internal storage, then move them to the SD card using your favorite file browser app.
