I have a loner phone from a store while my phone is being repaired. I think it's a Listo SP402. Google Chrome regularly opens new tabs bringing me to unwanted websites. So far I've tried the following :
-Clearing cache and app data
- doing a factory reset of the phone
-installing AVG antivirus free version. It finds no problem.
- followed instructions to delete an "app with no name" - I can't find any no name app

I have no idea what the problem is. Seems like malware, but how else could I get rid of it? I guess I could live with windows opening for a while, but I'm more concerned about security.

Can't find much about this phone. As it's a loner phone, I wouldn't recommend doing any more than you already have. If you are that concerned about security return it to the shop or be patient and use it for essential things.

No, you're still in the same thread - I'll change the name on the first post.

As far as the problem, I'd say the loaner was infected with some sort of virus. It's not your so don't worry about it, just don't connect it to a PC.

Welcome to Android Central! Does it still happen in Safe Mode? On most Android devices, while powered on, press and hold Power until the Power Off menu appears. Press and hold the Power Off selection until the Safe Mode prompt appears. Tap OK.

Hello folks. I have a similar problem on a Samsung galaxy J3. chrome opens on its own and goes to random pages I have not visited. I Also get a bitly.com warning page every time. Does anyone know how to fix this?
