Why does my LG G3 go silent during maps navigation?

[AC Question]

lg3 goes silent during maps navigation

I'm finding that when I try to use the maps app to navigate it might start out giving me voice navigation but then drop it (rendering it virtually useless while driving). I then can't seem to figure out how to get the voice going again. HELP!!

Welcome to the forums. In Maps there should be the menu button at the upper left. If you go there, and then settings, perhaps you can find something there.
