Why does my music and videos keep pausing by itself on my lg k20

I know it's not the most popular phone but I don't know why it keeps stopping and it gets really annoying please help

The phone has 2GB of RAM, which is starting to get a little small these days. And if you use the Home button when you finish an app, the app keeps running, so you could have 20 or 30 apps all competing for space. (You use the Back button to close an app when you're finished with it.)
