Why does my Note Edge lock screen on off constantly?

note edge lock screen on off constantly

i had this problem with my note edge after update os 5.1.1..when screen is lock no matter if it is charging or not,the screen will constantly activate and deactivate itself for around every 30 seconds..this cause my battery to be drain faster...the other problem is my home button is not working but the finger print scanner is working..i have not drop or hit this phone before..does anybody knows why??

Welcome to Android Central! It's possible the Home button is stuck, either physically or electronically (i.e., there's something wrong with the button's contact). This might result in constant or intermittent Home button presses, which would wake the screen. I would bring the phone to a repair shop, or contact Samsung if still under warranty.
