Android Central Question

I have a Galaxy S7 Edge. My partner has a Galaxy S7. We are on the same carrier, 1 and 1, in Germany. In most places we go, her phone will maintain a data connection, whereas mine will require me to turn airplane mode on and off. Whilst annoying at all times, this becomes completely impractical when in a car, with a reset required every couple of minutes. It also happens when I first leave my home and go out of range of WiFi, again a reset of airplane mode is required.

This was also an issue when I used to travel to Germany, and was at the time still with my UK carrier. A similar problem occured when travelling in France, although we did not have the same phone at the time for my to make comparisons.

How can I fix this?

Why and what led you to toggle the airplane mode? When it loses cell connection, what happens when you open settings and look at Connections?
