Why does my Play Store open when the phone is unlocked?

When my note 4 goes into full lock mode and I unlock it play store opens to a app to download

Welcome to Android Central! Sounds like you have some adware, which likely installed along with some other app you installed recently (probably a game). Uninstall your most recently installed apps one by one until the problem goes away.
