Why does my ring tone start quiet then get loud?

So when I get phone calls my ring tone starts out really quiet and then on the second ring it gets loud. Is there a way that I can get it to just be loud right away?

Check in your ring or notifications settings. I think some devices (you don't say which one you have) have options to start low and increase volume.
