So I got my Samsung Galaxy S4 about 9 months ago and about 3 months ago it started dying really quickly after a full charge, and sometimes on idle will jump from 20% to 15% really quickly, it seems to die quicker when it passes the 20% charge. I am so frustrated with it because I will charge it fully and go to school the next morning at 0800, and by the time 1300 rolls around it dies and sometimes I don't have a charger with me. I recently ordered an authentic replacement battery from Samsung and literally nothing changed, the battery still doesn't last. I had contacted Verizon about the issue, and they had me do a factory reset after backing up all my files and contacts, etc. This only made things worse. The phone now dies in about 4 1/2 instead of 5 or 6 hours. I often notice my phone getting really hot in my pocket (no case) after using apps like Snapchat and Twitch occasionally. It tends to die really fast when I use messaging or Snapchat compared to other apps like twitter or Instagram. If anyone could help me that would be great, and I will post pictures of my battery report below. :'(
