Why does my S5 start opening all of the programs and apps when I restart it?

restart weirdness

on restarts s5 starts opening all of the programs/apps on the phone one after another.

not sure if it's all of them, or just the recently opened ones before the restart.
it scrolls through them so fast that i can't really make note of all of them.

i tried uninstalling some apps,cleaning cache, etc but nothing seems to work. any ideas?

Welcome to Android Central!

Last resort option would bet to back up all your data and then do a factory reset. Might be the fastest and easy way to go.
