My S6 shows "Emergency Calls Only" after Marshmallow update.

I updated my Samsung Galaxy S6 to Marshmallow but it does not show the mobile network now. "Emergency Calls only" is there. How can I fix this issue. I took the sim card and put it again but still the problem persists.

Re: My S6 shows "Emergency Calls Only" after Marshmallow update.

Wipe system cache via recovery mode. No go? Boot into recovery and do a factory reset. If you still have provlems, request a replacement SIM from your service provider.

Not the same issue but I see this message a lot more on Marshmallow than I did on Lollipop..............quite a lot I take my phone out my pocket and it says 'Emergency Calls Only' and it takes a few seconds to register a signal again.

Got me worried I have no phone signal if I have my phone in my pocket! I'm on the Three network in the UK.

I have the same problem with my S5 after the update. I tried with another sim card but the problem is still there.

I also had exactly the same message on my S6 and now am stuck. Please help to resolve this problem or somebody advise how to go back to loli-pop ?

I wiped out cache, did a factory reset in recovery mode and even tried to use a new sim but the issue still persists.
