Why does my S8 keyboard tyyyypeeee liiiikeeeeee t t t this someeetimmmmes

Seriously, why does it do that?

I've reset the keyboard data. I've tried SwiftKey. I've tried asking Samsung and wweee couldn't figureee ittt outtt. I've had the phone for a year and I've updated it consistently.

I could fix thoseee errors by backspacing but you can see what I deal with this way!!

Hiya. No, it did at one point and there was no change. It started before I had a protector, still did it while I had one on, and still does now that it's off.

It was (I guess a post of mine is pending? WHere I said it did?) But I just tried it again and it's not doing it now. I don't know if it's a fluke though because it doesn't always do this.

Do you notice other problems with touchscreen over-sensitivity? Like when you tap something, does it ever think you're tapping multiple times?

Not that I know of but it's not impossible.

It probably won't help, but try wiping the cache partition: https://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-34311. If that doesn't help, consider a factory reset, or reinstalling the firmware using Smart Switch (http://www.sammobile.com/forum/showthread.php?t=29914) or Odin (in case the current firmware is corrupt): http://forums.androidcentral.com/am...w-flash-stock-rom-via-odin-new-interface.html

If none of that works, I'd think that it's more likely a hardware issue with the touchscreen digitizer.

Mine does that if I don't restart it every once in a while (maybe once a month) which puts it back to normal.
