Why does my samsung galaxy note 4 not work after update a couple days ago?

Phone is super hot when charging,won't start after update a couple days ago.says unfortunately, System UI has stopped & com.phone.android won't respond??what do I do??

Could be any number of things. You may want to back up your content somewhere (photos to Google Photos, etc) and do a factory reset, see if that fixes the issue. If you just accepted an update, good chance something didn't match up perfectly during the process.
