Why does my Samsung Galaxy S4 (updated from KitKat to Lollipop) no longer play videos stored in knox?

samsung galaxy s4 updated from kitkat to lollipop no longer plays videos stored in knox

When trying to play videos in knox after update they will not play. It shows a video icon but not the actual videos. Pictures are still fine.

Knox is an app - how are you storing pictures in it?

Welcome to Android Central! Two things to try:

1. Go to Settings>Developer Options, and look for the NuPlayer/AwesomePlayer option (if present). Try switching to whichever one wasn't selected. If you don't see Developer Options, then go to Settings>About Phone, and tap Build Number 7 times.

2. If that doesn't help, try wiping the cache partition, which can be helpful after major system updates: http://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-5744
