Why does my Samsung GT-P5210 only load to recovery mode?

Samsung GT-P5210 will only load recovery mode

Samsung GT-P5210 will only load recovery mode. Android os will not load at all. I have done the factory reset and only the recovery mode will show up when I restart. The charging port was bad and I replaced that. Is there a way to reload the os from an SD card? If so, what is that process?
