Why does my secure lock time keep automatically resetting to 30 minutes of inactivity?

My secure lock time keeps automatically resetting to 30 minutes of inactivity.

my galaxy s6 keep automatically changing to 30 minutes of inactivity a few minutes after I change it lock with screen time out or pushing power button. It did not start doing this until I updated it. Please help.

Same thing happened to me. Turns out it was a policy set in the Exchange server - specifically “Require sign-in after the device has been inactive for (minutes):”. I had the administrator of the server uncheck that policy for me and it hasn't happened since.
