Wifi button turns off by itself for no reason

I have my own wifi network at home and it used to work perfectly with my Galaxy S4. However, recently the wifi button has been turning itself off.

It's not my internet connection, because the internet is fine on my laptop and my cable (which is internet based).

I rebooted it once (which didn't actually work, because it just continued to cycle through rebooting with actually doing it), and that seemed to stabilize the problem for about a week.

But now it's gone back to turning off, which means that I have to keep my data off in case I'm doing something online and I don't realize it goes off.

Re: Wifi button turns off by itself for no reason

Well, I am afraid over this one but most of the Wi-Fi related problems can be solved only after you perform a complete factory resetting ! So, I would advise you to do the same backup your data by using CMW tool or whatever you like and perform a factory and then see if that solves the problem you are encountering !

Welcome to Android Central! The fact that it went into a bootloop when you tried to reboot suggests there may be something funky going on in the system. Try wiping the cache partition, which won't erase any personal data: http://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-5744
