why does my z2Force sometimes stay dark (locked) during incoming calls

Quite often I will receive an incoming phone call. My z2Force is locked. The phone will ring, but not light up or allow me to make it light up, thus answer call. Once the caller hangs up or it goes to voice mail, then the phone responds.

Can also try clearing cache,data,force stop the phone app.
