Why does the Bluetooth suck?

I have tried Jawbone Icon, Plantronics 975 and now Im on a Voyager PRO and even swapped out the INC and it still sucks. Cuts out alot. I love the device in every other way, but this is getting annoying to the point where I dont want to use the BT. Its reminding me of my old Treo 700p days where there was no hope. Anyone else? FYI, I have used all three BT headsets mentioned above with my Droid and they worked fine.

I am not sure if its the same but I had problems with my bluetooth stereo headset cutting out and found that if you have gps location always on it would cause my headsets to cut out every 40 secs. Switched it over to location by wireless and turned by gps off and it stopped.

I use an icon which worked great with my BB 9700.

I tested it out a little today and it was working fine for the most part.

Someone did say they were having trouble hearing me at one point but I think that was them just trying to end the call because they didn't know how to help with my problem (helpdesk).

JB Turbo, not what I was talking about, however I experienced it this morning on my S9HD at the GYM, Id be working out, and the BT would cut out. I did disconnect gps and wifi, but didnt help.

I really hope the BT is something they can fix with an update.

You will have to excuse my lack of knowledge on this. When you said you turned off gps did you go into menu>setting>location...put check mark in use wireless network, under location settings put 911 only and uncheck use gps satellites? This did stop the cut outs while listening to music. I dont know about just a bluetooth for calls only but I have the HT820 stereo headset that can make calls also and it works great for both.

How is Inc with bt car stereos with speakerphone? I have Pioneer car stereo and use it today with Pre and no issues. Behaves exactly as I'd expect with phone calls and streaming music resuming.

Jawbone prime on droid sucks. Besides the obvious problems that are shortcomings of the OS itself (no voice dial, seriously??) Mine just wil not stay synced. At least once a week it just takes a crap and dies and I need to do the whole "make discoverable" thing. What a pain.

Just a +1 on the Prime report. Worked great on the Storm 1 but it is weak on the Incredible. Even though they have been paired and used together prior, sometimes they won't connect when powering the Prime on. I have to power it off and on to get it to connect.

I too hope this is a problem that can be solved with a software update.

BT works great in my Maxima with built in BT.

No better nor worse than my Curve, Pearl, Storm, Tour, or Curve2

Wow! is it bad that I have had 6 different phones in the last 16 months??

No complaints with my Jawbone Icon. Quality is much better than on Storm in fact I have to turn the call volume down on almost every call. Voice dial is slated to be included with Froyo.

I use an original Jawbone with no problems. I also use Jaybird JB200 (now called "Freedom") and they work great. They used to cut out when paired with my old BBcurve. I have a 55 minute each way cycling commute I do a couple times a week. No drops or shutters with my D Inc.

I was having trouble with connecting and disconnecting, and then I went into the device settings and toggled off and on media and phone connections. I haven't had trouble since-- until my bluetooth battery gets weak. Then I have very limited range from my phone--but not the phone's fault. Its actually better than the storm was too.

I have paired my Incredible with my Jabra JX10 with no problems. However it won't see my Jawbone II so I can't pair it. Anyone have any tips for me to try? I have already tried a reboot and turning services on and off.
