Why does the ring tone only come out of the bottom Speaker?

Wonder if anyone can tell me why the ring tone does not come out of both speakers on the M9 like it does on the M8... does anyone know of an answer for a setting to change this so that my ring tone is louder...

It could be a software bug or something the developers over looked when they put the OS together.
