Why does the screen go black

I have an LG K20 with a magnet mount in the car. Every time I mount it on the magnet mount,the screen goes black with digital clock. How do I change this?

Do you mean V20?
if so I have not experienced that behaviour with mine

Black Screen

In my car, I have a magnet mount for driving and using navigation on my LG K20. Every time I mount the phone on the mount, I get this annoying black screen with digital time at the top, and a few app icons.

How do I get rid of this?

The phone doesn't respond to anything on the screen. The only way to get back to the desktop is to press the power button on the back.
It only happens when mounting the phone on the magnet mount.

That looks like it might be a screensaver, or the always-on display. Try going to Settings > Display > Screen saver. Slide the switch to "Off". Try also turning off "always-on display", if you have the option.
