Video player keeps accidently shutting off Galaxy S6 Active

So I just upgraded from a Galaxy s4 ,and I watch (well listen to )a lot of movies,tv shows with phone in my pocket while working ,doing chores,and I used to use the power button on the Galaxy S4 to lock my video player ,but now all video players I try have a little icon to lock the screen ,but as soon as I put phone in my pocket ,the power button accidentally gets hit and shuts video player off and I have to start all over from beginning again. I have tried like 8 different video players and they all shut down if power button is just touched.Even when locked. This phone is driving me nuts.

I had the same problem, factory reset or soft reset doesn't help. It turns out that the power button is faulty, it's shorted from time to time causing it to turn on by itself or keep rebooting itself indefinitely.
