Why doesn't Samsung S7 support NTFS usb drives?

Every time I connect a NTFS usb drive to my phone I get a message that says the usb drive is corrupted (it's not).
Honor 8 supports NTFS usb drives.
Why not Samsung?
Or is there a *secret* option I don't know about.

Is there another way? I'm afraid this will make an issue to the device. this might make problems and errors to the system files of the phone.
