Why doesn't the majority of my downloaded music show up in my phone's media or audio files?

I have the Galaxy Note 5, I want to add a clip of a certain song (which I bought and downloaded) to an instagram video. But it is not included in the list of songs to choose from (nor are the majority of songs and albums that I have downloaded to my device). Help!

Amazon Music. I know prime music cannot be used in other apps, but I specifically bought some songs so that I could have access to them in other areas. And in my downloaded music folder are just a few albums. Not all that I have bought and downloaded.

Does your browser have its own storage folder? Do you know the file type downloaded? MP3 etc? You could hook up your phone to the pc and search in Windows explorer. If they are mp3, in the search box enter *.mp3 and it will find all MP3 files or flac would be *.flac etc

Ok. I connected it to the PC. It's the same old story. No music files, and on top of that, next to each file folder it says it cantains 0 kb of data. It's like it thinks they're in the cloud even though the app says they are downloaded to my device 🤔😒
