why don't we have easy root for tb?

After using Revolutionary I'm not too sure what could be easier. And it doesn't trash your apps and data.

+4 for revolutionary, very easy and painless and on top of that, no data loss.

Here is my question I got root now how do I overclock I can't find an overclock app anywhere

you need an overclockable kernel. Currently only available for Froyo ROMs. The only Gingerbread OverClockable kernels are for AOSP ROMs like CM7 and OMFGB,

i think devs have made rooting too easy. I miss all the adb commands (thats how i rooted my tbolt). Some of these people have no business rooting, honestly. Making it harder will make you do some research before you dive into doing it.

I'm not a fan of overclocking... nor hijacking someone's thread... but I do believe BAMF Forever has overclocking capabilities in it's BAMF Settings app, which is a Gingerbread ROM.

I'm good with stock but this is nice to know... Thanks

Sorry, saw today that IMoseyOn made a kernel for GB Sense that worked with 2.11 GB Leak ROMs. My bad. I've been rocking CM7 for the past couple of weeks. Couldn't be happier. Going to try out some themes this week.

I make it a habit to wait for the developer to include a Kernel before I start experimenting with them because I cant chance a Brick situation do to unsupported kernel.. I feel more comfortable when the rom developer has tested and verified the kernel for his work...

Thanks for the information....

generally, with GB sense ROM's, the stock kernel seems to be working out much better than imo's kernels. even without the OC settings. this has been my experience with Gingeritis and BAMF Forever ROM's.

The Revolutionary rooting method was very easy to do but I have a question. After installing ROM manager, is it still necessary to install CWM recovery? I thought that was included from doing the Revolutionary procedure. It seems ROM manager wants me to install the recovery again.
