Why has my SD card stopped being recognised by the phone?

SD card stopped being recognised by the phone

Hi

My MTC one M8 has been working fine since I got it but I was playing some music on it (stored on my SD card) when it suddenly stopped. I looked at the phone and the SD card was no longer available.

If I connect the phone to my computer I can still access the sd card but I can no longer access anything through the phone.

Any ideas?

Make sure card contacts are clean. if your sd card can still access on computer, backup your data first,, avoid data lost

Contacts are clean, data saved elsewhere.

Anyone else with any idea whats happened/how to fix it?
