Why have samsung removed block phrases from there message app.

[Android Central Question]

Is there anyone who has found a solution to this problem. I get alot of spam messages from companies that don't send messages from a mobile number. These messages can't be blocked as there is no number just a name.
On the note 8 I was able to block phrases or keywords. ( best option ever ) now on the note 9 I can't.
I'm going back to note 8.

Has anyone had this problem.or figured a solution out?

Sorry for bringing this old thread back, but I have the same problem. I've migrated from a Galaxy S7 to a S10 Plus and the option to block SMS by phrases isn't available on the new phone. Is there a solution for this?

I recommend posting in the S10 Plus forum as well. I can't really move the thread there because the OP mentioned the Note 9. In this instance posting your question twice will be okay.
