Why I can't sign into my HTC Account app?

[Android Central Question]

Everytime I try I get message saying " We are unable to connect to HTC servers, please try again later" I have been waiting and trying for 3 days and it won't work. I can't see if my app is for update because I can't login to my google play store account! Any solutions to this? Tried contacting HTC support but they didn't help

What device are you trying to do this with? Logging in to your HTC account (or not as the case may be) shouldn't effect your Play Store account, which one is the issue?

Welcome to Android Central! HTC has pretty much exited the mobile space except for Vive VR stuff, so I wouldn't be surprised if they shut the servers down (or aren't maintaining them very well). Are you trying to log in primarily for Vive?
