Why I'm skipping on the SPRINT NOTE 3 and why you should too.

Okay, with Tmo. you have a choice of paying the downpayment, and a 2yr contract, OR paying the $21/mo for 24 months, but not both, right? The way I figured it, the 2yr contract would cost $1,880, or do they make you pay the downpayment AND the $21/mo for 24mo? That would SUCK!

Yes with T-Mobile you pay for your phone full price instead of being locked into a contract.

As for speeds.. I beg to differ on not being advertised... At least for my area :). I average 30 GB a month.

Below is a LTE then HSPA speed test.

Wrong. Initially it WAS a 4G surcharge when the OG Evo came out. When the Iphone first came out for Sprint, they couldn't access WIMAX so it became a "premium data" charge so that they could have iphone users pay it as well.

As a Sprint Evo 4G pre-order customer, it was called the "Premium Data" charge from day one. People on the internet referred to it as the "WiMax fee". A Sprint store employee at the time said it was a fee to cover all the additional data a user was expected to consume simply because the device was a smart phone.

And whenever people try to throw that out there, like Sprint was gouging their customers with that fee, I like to remind them that Sprint's plans (even with the $10) are still cheaper than Verizon, AT&T and T-Mo.

And, I can put as many gigs of data as I want a month through my phone, so...

Here's an interesting article I just came across that might explain why it's *better* (at least for now) that then N3 is not tri-band.

Nexus 5 and LG G2 experience temporary Sprint LTE connectivity issues due to Circuit Switched Fallback technology - Sprint 4G Rollout Updates

Apparently, there are some issues with tri-band phones not supporting Simultanious Voice and LTE (SVLTE) not being able to stay connected to LTE in some areas where Sprint's network is still in the process of being upgraded. It's worth the read, if you're interested on the topic.

I disagree as the Spark network isn't even fully rolled out even here in Chicago. I have no issues here with LTE 1900 and not receiving LTE in buildings isn't a concern of mine. Right now I'm very happy with my SVLTE Note 3.
