Why is Best Buy Censoring Customer Reviews?

I first started to watch this just after the Sony blue player was released. There was a commnet posted about the blue ray player was hard to install and locked up on the owner.

I went to check reviews later in the day and the negative review as well as a few other unfavorable reviews had been deleted.

Now if you go there you can see the star rating... but you are unable to read any reviews at all.... For many of the Google TV products includng the Revue and the blue ray player.

I am not a fan of people giving low marks when it isnt the fault of the product... but to censor actual concerns of customers is wrong..

Does Best Buy have a history of this?

I wouldn't necessarily trust Best Buy's reviews of products, since they have a vested interest in maintaining positive reviews so they can sell more products.

I've never heard of them censoring reviews, but I wouldn't be surprised.

Generally, I'll look at Amazon's product reviews when shopping at Best Buy, as they have a longer history of user reviews, and any censorship there would hit the fan immediately.
